Bryncethin born Librarian, Gareth Davies also fulfils the role of Concert Compere and has sung with the Bass Section since 1999.  Having spent a lifetime in the transport industry, he has now retired leaving him time to enjoy his favourite pastimes, his grandchildren and travelling, with his wife Irene. He lives in Bridgend.
