Successful Choir Rugby World Cup 2015 associations with the charity, Shine Cymru benefitting from Phil Steele’s Rugby World Cup at Cardiff; a visit to the Tiger’s Fan Zone at Leicester’s Welford Road HQ and more locally at Bridgend Athletic RFC Clubhouse when they hosted Tokyo team, Superman RFC led the choristers into more traditional activities.

A visit to Tabernacle Welsh Congregational Church for its Annual Concert was considered a huge success, the variety enhanced with Eisteddfod winning soprano, Ellen Williams and Choir music team members Scott Williams with his organ solo and Rhiannon Williams-Hale and Ryan Wood with a piano duet. Bridgend Male Choir is currently recording its latest CD to be released in time for Christmas. Keep an eye on the Choir website for details www.bridgendmalechoir.co.uk

Choristers will be out in force for Bridgend Male Choir’s invite to the town’s Remembrance Service at the Cenotaph on 8th November and for a visit to Pembroke Comprehensive School on the 13th in a concert for Pembroke Lions which will also feature the school choir. The next local concert is the Friendship Concert at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Bridgend on 4th December, also featuring St Mary’s Catholic School Choir. The BMC content will include songs from the CD and appropriate Christmas items. Tickets available from the Church.
