Bridgend Male Choir held a highly successful fundraising luncheon at the Best Western Heronston Hotel. The guest speaker was Carolyn Hitt, award winning columnist with the Western Mail newspaper. The full to capacity room enjoyed her informative and humorous recollections of experiences in male dominated rugby circles & memories of interviewing famous stars, such as Irish actor Peter O'Toole.
The Choir is extremely grateful to chorister, John Keene, who singlehandedly organised the luncheon sponsorship; raffle prizes & auction items. The auction of sporting memorabilia & other items was conducted by chorister, Dai Coleman. The afternoon ended with an impromptu afterglow led by irrepressible chorister, Bill Hodge.
