What a great weekend and choral treat at Douglas, IOM
Bridgend Male Choir is "knocking on the door" after achieving second place again in the Male Voice Section of a major competition. Pipped by Heydock MVC in a competition described by Adjudicator, Robert T Elliott as separated  "by small margins", Bridgend dead-heated with the the Froncysyllte (Fron) MVC.

The 3rd Isle of Man Festival of Choirs Competition attracted entrants of the highest standards all of whom performed in the packed Royal Hall at the Villa Marina. Chorus Amici won the Mixed Voices Section & were crowned overall winners. The Chanterelles won the Ladies Choirs Competition and were also rightfully awarded the "Most Entertaining".

The Choir brought great credit to Bridgend & Wales and will be looking to take a further step forward when it next competes.
