With both a Poppy Appeal Concert and Service of Remembrance, the Choir expected a busy spell
The Poppy Appeal Concert at the Sony Theatre was both audience packed & ambitiously planned with numerous local artists taking the stage. Whilst it went well, comments about its over lengthy content were received, which may have slightly detracted.
The Service of Remembrance however, was as usual, run with military precision. Crowds increase in number year upon year and the 2014 special anniversary significance contributed to an estimated couple of thousand in attendance. BMC is proud to be invited to sing separately & to boost the hymn-singing.
Organisers of both events are to be congratulated for their hard work in planning successive events bringing much credit to the town.
