Local charity, St John's House Trust to be supported with next engagement
Three choirs come together again at the wonderful Sony Theatre on Saturday, 15th February. Excellent feedback from a similar concert 12 months ago has encouraged the local Newcastle Hill based charity, St John's House Trust to invite Bridgend Male Choir; Vocelle Ladies Choir & Oldcastle School Choir to repeat the concert, albeit with different repertoire.
The award winning Bridgend Male Choir is already well known and is delighted to appear with the ladies from Pontyclun and the local schoolchildren. Vocelle Ladies Choir is a very harmonious ensemble which accepts musical challenges in its stride and takes great pleasure in entertaining. As for the Oldcastle schoolchildren, they have worked hard to learn their items and add real contrast to their senior choral colleagues. An evening of song and mirth is assured, the event guided by accomplished compère, Gareth Davies.
