Upcoming local Bridgend Male Choir performances commence on Saturday, 3rd October with its Annual Concert at Tabernacle Welsh Congregational Church on Derwen Road from 7.00 pm.
The Choir is delighted to have secured as its guest, soprano, Ellen Williams. The hugely talented Ellen has made great strides in her relatively short career and she will enjoy the piano accompaniment of Rhiannon Williams-Hale. The Choir’s Musical Director, Rhiannon can expect a busy evening and in turn she will have the accompaniment support of Scott Williams on organ and on piano, guest Ryan Wood, the latter having got to know the choristers well after stepping in several times in recent months.
The Choir’s varied Annual Concert programme will include a number of items set to be included in its latest CD, to be recorded at the month end in readiness for the Christmas market. With trips planned to Pembroke, Chepstow, Birmingham and Dublin, choristers have much to look forward to.
