CHOIR RETURNS TO GRAND PAVILION

Sunday 05 September 2010

Choristers look forward to a double i.e. staging at the the Grand Pavilion again in 2010 & appearing with Max Boyce again, this time in Bridgend County

Celebrating its Golden Anniversary this year, Bridgend Male Choir is delighted that iconic Welsh entertainer, Max Boyce, is headlining this special event during its busy 50th Birthday programme. The Choir has performed with Max in recent times at Wales Millennium Theatre, Cardiff Bay and is delighted to share the stage with him again, this time in the Borough County of Bridgend. Max needs no introduction, as he is possibly the best known & well liked entertainer in Wales and beyond.

Also appearing at the Concert are singer, Eve Sherratt and compere & comedian, Colin Price. Swansea born Eve is a wonderful international recording talent having already appeared with other leading choirs and appeared on BBC1, BBC2 & ITV. She has a huge future and the chance to hear her at Porthcawl should not be missed. Neath born, Colin is described as the King of Welsh comedy and has been entertaining for many years – again, not to be missed!

Host, Bridgend Male Choir has toured extensively and enjoyed competition success in both the UK and Europe. It has an extensive repertoire and its greatest enjoyment is the concert stage. It is very happy to return to the Grand Pavilion for its second show in three months and to entertaining a growing band of supporters. Happy Birthday, Bridgend Male Choir!

Tickets for the Show are selling fast & it is recommended that interested concert goers get theirs quickly. Prices are £23, £20 & £17.50 (with concessions) from the Box Office only. Tel. 01656 815995.
