This was the first time in a number of years for the Choir to compete and while Saturday did not deliver the result the Choir hoped for it was a wonderful experience for all.
Having listened to the four choirs, all were worthy of the Eisteddfod stage as demonstrated by the way the audience was entertained. In a concert setting any one of the four would have done a grand job in the Donald Gordon Theatre.
Competition is all about little differences - there were little differences but no gaffs from any choir. Unlike dozens of other choirs, we competed, the scars and the sweat prove that. We will learn from this and going forward do what we like to do, that is enjoy our choir and our singing.
