An opportunity to support a very worthwhile cause is upon us, by attending what looks to be a good Concert with much local participation.
Lifeline Foundation UK is a charitable foundation set up by a group of international professional people who are seriously concerned at the rate of suicides amongst young people in the UK especially in Wales and particularly in the Welsh valleys of the County Boroughs of Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot. These people include an American interventional cardiologist, a Caribbean businessman, a British accountant and British entrepreneurs involved in the music, arts and entertainment industry.
Lifeline Foundation UK aims to raise money through charitable concerts, music and performing arts in Wales and UK to support local charitable groups that work with vulnerable people, especially children and young people.
The first Lifeline local profile raising concert, ‘Bring Him Home’ is to be held at the Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl on 17th January 2009 at 7pm, at which the award winning Bridgend Male Choir will perform together with children of Porthcawl Comprehensive School singing songs from the musicals and a short drama performance and a supporting band, All 4 The Fall. The evening promises a ‘not to be missed’ exciting music, singing and drama performance.
