BRIDGEND MALE CHOIR COMBINES WITH GARW VALLEY SCHOOLS - Press Officer, Tim O'Hagan writes..........
Bridgend Male Choir will be performing to a full house audience in a concert at Tabernacle Church, Pontycymmer, at 7.00pm, Friday 11th May 2012. The evening will be compered by the well-known Huw Edwards and will feature the school choirs of Ffaldau Primary and Ysgol Cwm Garw, together with Meirion Davies on trumpet. The evening is in aid of the Church Organ Restoration Fund.
In November of last year, the choir held its 50th anniversary concert at the same venue, again with Huw Edwards and the two schools and the whole evening earned rave reviews. As a result, the tickets for this May concert have sold out completely within a few weeks of going on sale.
