Choristers have returned from successfully entertaining a "sea of O2 white" at one of Welford Road's hospitality suites on the occasion of England vs. Wales at Twickenham in the Rugby World Cup.
Under MD, Rhiannon and Stephanie on piano, the choir entertained this relatively young audience with some rousing items such as Men of Harlech, which set the scene for Wales victory later. Most of the audience were confident of an England victory, but it was not to be, perhaps in some small way to the match time afterglow renditions of Hymns and Arias; Calon Lan; Cwm Rhondda and others which drew wide applause and an excellent atmosphere in the club supporters Final Whistle fanzone bar.
