SEASIDE NEWS UPDATE

Saturday 27 February 2016

Press Release to meet "advance" deadline date at Seaside News

After entertaining a sell-out Principality Stadium at the Wales vs. France, Six Nations Rugby last week, choristers of the Bridgend Male Choir now celebrate the launch of its latest CD, “# Sounds Like” on St David’s Day.

The first release since CD, “Classic Male” was released six years ago, the new content represents much of the Choir’s current repertoire. There is great variety with songs from opera; stage; always popular hymns & test pieces from its Llangollen Eisteddfod success showing the Choir’s versatility. The CD can be purchased at Porters Estate Agents, Nolton Street, Bridgend; any chorister or the Choir’s website www.bridgendmalechoir.co.uk  at a cost of £8.99. It will also be available at all Choir engagements, the next of which is at 7.00 pm, Friday, 11th March.

This is the occasion of the St John’s Trust “Three Choirs Concert”, raising much needed funds for its restoration & preservation work at its Newcastle Hill base. Joining BMC at St Mary’s Catholic Church on Ewenny Road will be the high quality singers of Pontyclun based, Vocelle Ladies, plus the Children’s Choir of Oldcastle School, which will have a few topical surprises. This Concert gets better every year & a treat is in store. Tickets available from BMC Choir Secretary, Gareth Reese T. 07773 170373 or at the Church before the Concert start.
