SUCCESSFUL VISIT TO PEMBROKE

Saturday 14 November 2015

THE CHOIR HAS RETURNED FROM A CONCERT AT PEMBROKE BUSH HILL COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL WITH THE SCHOOL "SHOW" CHOIR, SUPPORTING LOCAL LIONS CLUBS

A well attended concert audience gave a wonderful welcome to BMC, which in turn gave an accomplished performance.

Under the guidance of MD, Rhiannon Williams-Hale, choristers sang a number of items to be included on its imminent CD. Accompanist, Stephanie Bailey again provided a seamless link between MD & Choir and their vocal duet drew huge applause. Similar appreciation was given to tenor soloist, Paul Carter and narrator, Peter Morgan.

The School's Show Choir lived up to its name with an entertaining programme; vocal solos and instrumental offerings with saxophone & flute. The author's highlight was the students singing "Adiemus" composed by BMC Patron, Karl Jenkins.

The Lions Clubs of Pembroke & Pembroke Dock had promoted the Concert with the assistance of Bryn Williams, a former BMC chorister with family connections in the locality. A generous buffet & much impromptu singing closed a great west Wales evening at Pembroke Rugby Club (DTB)
