"VARIETY" IS THE NAME OF THE GAME

Tuesday 14 April 2009

Much is happening at the Choir........

Choirs take part in a variety of events; none more so than Bridgend Male Choir.

After two recent successful visits to Wales’s premier hotel venue, the Celtic Manor Resort at Newport, the Choir next performs at Porthcawl’s Grand Pavilion. Already this year, it has appeared at the Severn Theatre, Shrewsbury and St David’s Hall, Cardiff. A fundraising luncheon is planned at the OCLP Club, Bryntirion before some weeks later it records its next CD at Tabernacl Chapel, Bridgend and helps celebrate a Pencoed wedding before winding up the first half of the year participating in an outdoor event at Coity Castle.

The Choir was privileged to be invited to the Celtic Manor to entertain the 600 delegates at the National Federation of Small Businesses Annual Conference. Guests traveled from all over the UK and their “special treat” was much appreciated.

Bridgend Male Choir next appears as special guests on the Made in Wales Show at the Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl on the 25th April. The Show, headlined by well known Welsh entertainers, Owen Money and Paul Child also has the participation of the Welsh Television Orchestra for what promises to be a great evening’s enjoyment. Tickets available from the Box Office T.01656 815995. On the afternoon before, the Choir luncheon will be held, advance tickets only from Choir Secretary, Gareth Reese T.01656 862037.
